Job Description:
The Nursing and Health Sciences Compliance Coordinator will perform specialized work for the Minneapolis College nursing and allied health programs. This employee will work in conjunction with administration, faculty, and students in the coordination of compliance related to external clinical partner activities, external internships, contracts, purchasing, and related activities to facilitate student success, accreditation readiness, and compliance for all relevant nursing and health programs. The working schedule will be flexible based on needs of programs and could include evening or weekend hours for program related activities. Some travel is required off campus to attend meetings with external clinical and community partners, and to facilitate transfer of required compliance elements from external clinical partners. Areas of responsibility include managing all aspects of external clinical partner compliance, including the Minnesota Department of Human Services background study process. This employee will have considerable autonomy in areas of responsibility, with general direction provided by the nurse administrator.
This position may be eligible for partial telework (one day per week) in accordance with Minneapolis College telework guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Higher Ed degree and /or two years relevant experience.
Computer skills, advanced knowledge of MS office, e-mail and internet.
Strong customer service skills.
Demonstrates an effort to improve cultural competence and actively takes steps to include diversity training in professional development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including listening, speaking, writing and the ability to deal tactfully with diverse populations in a positive, courteous, and helpful manner.
Strong problem-solving skills sufficient to identify and clarify problems or issues, to prepare and execute possible solutions under the direction of a supervisor.
Evidence of strong relationship skills.

Salary Range:
$21.43 – $31.00 hourly; $44,746 – $64,728 annually. Placement within the salary range for the MnSCU Academic Professional 1 classification is determined on the basis of relevant experience and education in accordance with the 2021 – 2023 Minnesota Association of Professional Employees labor agreement.
