Overview
NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director, Student Engagement in the Undergraduate College. The Assistant Director, Student Engagement will work on a dynamic team to support and oversee programming for the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) that will enhance studentsâ™ feeling of belonging throughout the Stern undergraduate student experience. Partner with constituents across the Undergraduate College (UC) team to support student groups with a holistic approach (e.g., identities related to academics, IDBE, well-being, class year and others). Oversee large scale programming, academic identity support and engagement initiatives for each class year. Collaborate with the larger Student Experience Team, including the UC Deanâ™s Office, Communications, and UC Office of Student Engagement.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree MBA, MEd or equivalent is preferred) and 3+ years progressively responsible professional level experience in higher education in the area of student engagement, leadership development, alumni affairs, advising or career development or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, strategic, management and systems skills are required. Proven ability to plan and implement programs with quantifiable results is also required.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYCâ™s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $85,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidateâ™s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
