Overview
The Assistant Director, Programming will play a critical role in equipping college advisers at New York University with the information and resources they need to advance to achieve their school level goals. The Assistant Director, Programming is responsible for implementing key functions and initiatives of NYU College Advising Corps. This individual will manage and supervise a cohort of 25 advisers, traveling to school sites weekly. This individual will be responsible for ensuring advisers are supported and well equipped to successfully meet program key performance indicators on a month to month basis. This individual will regularly interface with school site supervisors, staff and administrators in an effort to foster and maintain strong relationships with high school partners. The Assistant Director will also manage and implement programmatic initiatives critical to the NYU College Advising Corps model, such as adviser professional development, recruitment, and volunteer engagement.
This is a fixed-term position with an end date of July 31, 2023.
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years Experience with programming or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; ability to work autonomously and to meet deadlines; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $58,500.00 to USD $85,000.00.
