Overview
The Senior Assistant Director of Experiential Marketing and Events will play a critical role in creating an exceptional in-person and virtual campus visit experience for prospective students, families, and guests one of the largest experiential marketing programs in U.S. higher education. The person in this role will continue to create a strong partnership with student life leaders and groups across the University in order to plan and execute annual virtual and on-and-off campus special events for prospective students, families, community based organizations, college counselors, and alumni volunteers. Leveraging new technologies and the power of storytelling, the Senior Assistant Director will partner with senior Marketing team leadership and staff across the division to reimagine and enhance virtual event programming, including virtual information sessions, virtual campus tours, and other virtual recruitment offerings.
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years experience in event planning, experiential marketing, external/visitor relations, or related field in the higher education, governmental, nonprofit, or corporate space.
Preferred Experience: Experience with enterprise information systems, e.g. CRM

Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $58,500.00 to USD $101,960.00.
