Our English curriculum is based on the AERO standards and in Grades 11 & 12 we offer the IBDP English Literature course. In addition, we have courses in American and World Literature as well as Creative Writing. The English team works to ensure diverse and inclusive voices are represented through our text selections and task design. The English team embraces the Harkness methodology of discussion-based learning and our classrooms are equipped with large Harkness tables for this purpose. We are seeking an educator to help our students develop their skills in critical thinking, analytical writing, and interpretation. CAC has about 845 students this year (the number varies as families come and go) and we are proud of our diversity: CAC students come from over 50 different countries.
