What you will do:
The Brooks School of Public Policy is looking for a dynamic candidate to be a member of the Office of Enrollment and Student Services team. This role will provide a wide range of program administrative support to the Director of Enrollment and Student Services and the staff in this office. The Student Services Assistant/ Coordinator will serve and assist with the following:
- Marketing efforts and program support.
- Assistance with admissions processes.
- Scheduling appointments and meetings and purchasing products to fulfill departmental and student space needs.
- Event planning and coordination for orientations, professional development, and student events.
- Serves as the point-of-contact for walk-ins, email, and telephone inquiries for Brooks undergraduate programs.
Qualifications and Attributes:
We are seeking candidates with an Associate's Degree with 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in an office setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate, with diplomacy and tact, with faculty, staff, and students. They will have strong interpersonal skills to anticipate and assist with the needs of students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, they will have demonstrated outstanding customer service skills to manage a high volume of traffic in a fast-paced office and the ability to maintain confidentiality. They will handle highly sensitive, confidential material. Excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and meet expected deadlines will be necessary, along with strong attention to detail.
