Under general supervision of the Executive Director, the Career Experience Program Lead (CEPL) oversees all functions supporting students’ experiential learning. The CEPL collaborates broadly with the faculty, internal and external university partners, local community partners, the Career Center’s Employer Engagement and the Career Education Teams to develop, design, curate, and expand opportunities for career experiences. The CEPL will lead existing college to career programs, as well as research and source prospective professional career experiences on and off campus that fit with student interests, knowledge, skills, abilities, and career directions. The CEPL builds and maintains strategic relationships with internal and external campus partners to source and design career learning opportunities, create connection events, and generate program funding. The CEPL leads the implementation of career experience and outcomes surveys to assess impact of outreach efforts on student career success. The CEPL will ensure employer compliance with EEO/ADA/AFF mandates, Career Center internship and employment guidelines, and relevant University and CSU regulations.
