This position will be responsible for the daily management of the orientation and advising reservation systems that are used in New Student Enrollment programming. Will recommend, compile, and build advising capacities for 10 academic units each academic term. Will serve as the liaison to all academic college's advising centers for data analysis, advising appointment communication and reporting. Will lead all customer service efforts including training 4 student hourly staff on advising and orientation processes and coordinating all phone call and email responses. Will manage phone banking efforts to incoming students, including updating daily response reports. Will oversee the execution and communication to colleagues across campus around the orientation information fair. Will oversee orientation programming daily logistics, NSE calendar, and inventory. Serve as the contact person for any student information system-related projects and testing. Will monitor and maintain budget requests and NSE reporting on a regular basis. Coordinates the late-advising process before a semester begins and makes advising capacity recommendations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years of full-time professional experience in higher education or related field. Demonstrated attention to detail in written communication. Experience organizing data, files, inventory, etc. Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously and accurately. Experience communicating and coordinating processes across units. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software. Experience serving constituents from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, ages, etc. Ability to take initiative to solve problems, assume responsibility, establish and maintain quality standards required. Excellent oral, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills. Evidence of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands. Analytical thinking for reporting, process improvement and data analysis.
Master's degree in college student personnel, higher education administration, student affairs, or related field. Experience managing reservations, rosters, reports or information management systems. Experience in training or supervision of student leaders . Experience creating and implementing customer service processes and information. Experience in data analysis and reporting. Professional experience at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Experience with PeopleSoft, NUVIEW, WebFocus (Dashboard), Salesforce or other CRM.
