Plans, coordinates, implements and maintains compliance with federal financial aid rules and regulations with specific emphasis on Return of Title IV Funds, transmission of data, and Consumer Information and Disclosure (including Campus Crime Reporting, Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Gainful Employment, etc.). Autonomously develops and delivers expert leadership for an integrated, continuous training program utilizing the colleges Talent Management System (TMS) and 5Star Service Center/Knowledge Base Articles for financial aid and student services staff (Academic Success Coaches, Academic Advising, Student Finance, StarZone, Center for Student Support, Student Engagement, etc.) to ensure accurate and consistent information is provided by all student serving personnel. Plans, designs, implements, and manages a strategic internal and external communication plan for the financial aid office using various modes of delivery in alignment with the Strategic Plan. Provides leadership, supervision and coaching to direct reports and other financial aid staff. Ensures compliance with federal regulations, oversight to operational functions, and timely delivery of financial aid. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution
Demonstrated financial aid experience
Demonstrated direct customer service experience
Experience working with financial aid technology that is part of an institution-wide ERP system
