The Assistant Director of Orientation Logistics will manage, plan and coordinate New Student Orientation, a series of 25 two-day on-campus sessions which are attended by 14,500+ attendees annually. The Assistant Director coordinates the day-to-day logistics and enacts risk/crisis management procedures that lead to a successful transition program. They will assess situations and make programmatic decisions with autonomy in the interest of the program/attendees. In addition, the Assistant Director serves on various university committees for planning and execution of job duties. The position requires some evening and weekend work during orientation season.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 1 year related experience, or bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience.
