Job Description: What We Are Looking For
The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) the Academic Affairs office is seeking a full-time Clinical Placement Coordinator to support the mission of Baylor University. The Clinical Placement Coordinator is responsible for managing student records required for compliance with affiliation agreements with health care agencies. Coordinator reviews records for compliance and contact students when screening, immunization and certification records are missing or expired.
This position is based in Dallas, TX. A Bachelors degree, three years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Masters degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred. A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of the required degree and/or years of experience.
What You Will Do
Create and manage CastleBranch trackers. Ensure CastleBranch has the latest requirements by the clinical agencies and due dates set up in student accounts. Work with students to ensure all clinical requirements have been met in regards to immunizations and CPR. Conduct Drug Test and Background Check process with students and monitor accounts for results.
Maintain updated information regarding clinical agencies documentation and clearance process requirements. Obtain clearance at each agency for student and faculty to access to Electronic Health Records (EHR) within the agency. Communicate with faculty and students any information they will need to gain clearance at the assigned clinical agency. Communicate any changes to the clinical placements to the faculty, students and administration. Submit attestation letters and student paperwork to clinical agencies. Prior to sending student paperwork to agency - review for accuracy and neatness.
Process and maintain academic files and records.
Complete Education Verifications received from outside entities for current students and graduates.
Assist the Clinical Placement Manager with registering students.
