Description Incumbent's responsibilities include performing a variety of complex clerical tasks and managing an office; possesses extensive knowledge of organizational structure, regulations, flow of work, and interrelationships between various operating departments and sites. Works with and understands extended campus scheduling, acts on behalf of the Campus Director in non-academic areas during an absence. Serves as a member of the Student Service Team and as a department process expert requiring extensive experience and a broad interpretation of university and campus policies and procedures. Reports to the Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
Implements office procedures in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Webster University.
Track inquiries and prospects, including regular and personal follow-up, to maximize conversion rate from prospect to applicant. Daily usage of the University's automated prospect system.
Submits to the Director weekly reports of inquiry lead generation activity.
Represent the University and local campus at events for student recruitment, with a special focus on military affiliated prospects
Serves as primary VA certifying Official for the local campus and maintains compliance and communications with state VA Education Liaison Representative (ELR)
Maintains office and ensure appropriate office and recruitment supplies are on hand through placing orders as needed.
Serves as first line of contact for all office admirative office services (phones, general e-mails and in-person services)
Provides essential details to university constituents regarding all campus administrative functions as well as basic program and class information
Coordinates all building repairs and maintenance.
Maintains, supports, and assigns classrooms and computer labs as required by the term schedule.
Assist the campus director in planning, coordinating and implementing public relations activities to promote local campus events, personnel, and a positive image of the University and local campus
Directs students to the appropriate department for issues or inquiries
Alert Director to any potential issues as needed
Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data; implements solutions in conjunction with established policies and procedures as outlined through Webster's IT division. Works with St. Louis personnel to perform upgrades of labs as needed.
Ensures evening classroom contact hours and meeting time compliance are met.

Four Years of College Coursework or Equivalency
Organizational skills; detail oriented.
Knowledge of current general office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of office equipment, such as typewriters, copiers, computers, and fax machines.
Computer literate. Knowledge of current administrative software such as word processing, spreadsheet, data base, etc.
Knowledge of English, grammar, punctuation, and correspondence forms.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of basis arithmetic and making arithmetic calculations.
Ability to exercise important human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with the University community
Military affiliation preferred
Knowledge of University academic programs, policies, and procedures.

Special Instructions For Applicant Standard Schedule: Work may include some evening hours, as classes are taught 5-9pm. Daily hours will be set in conjunction with your local leadership.
