Job Summary:
Leads, administers, manages and assesses comprehensive, engineering student success initiatives, services, and their related operations.
Essential Duties:
Develops, plan, implement, manage and assess specialized, academic, career and leadership development-based mentoring, bridge and summer programs.
Implements programming and projects; manages data related to initiatives connected to a comprehensive, developmental academic advising program.
Plans, manages and assesses student career-related programs, events and services.
Manages ESS operational functions related to budget management/processing. Will perform certain office administrative tasks such as ordering supplies.
Supervise support staff, student employees, and other related temporary employees.
Manages and analyzes data using relative software/programs as it relates to assessing/evaluating student co-curricular learning and experiences.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, communications, business, or a related field. Three to five years of experience in managing and supporting student success programs and initiatives or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
One to two years of supervisory experience.
One to three years of budget management and allocation experience.
Strong communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree and experience in coordinating services for students in college/university settings
Three to five years of experience with administering, managing, and accessing STEM-based student success programs, events, and services in a research-intensive university setting.
Two to four years of experience leading and administering operations (budgets, staff management, procurement processes, office logistics/coordination, etc.) behind student success functions and initiatives.
