Under general supervision of the Director, Healthy Campus Initiatives, this position is responsible for planning and implementing comprehensive sexual assault, advocacy, violence prevention programs and services for the university, including strategic planning, budgeting, research and grant writing. Organizes and builds community-based violence prevention efforts to understand and prevent sexual assault and interpersonal violence. Supports and incorporates the Healthy Carolina vision in programs, activities and marketing strategies, ensuring they meet or exceed standards and established guidelines. Trains, directs and supervises graduate assistants/interns and peer educators in department services which include, but are not limited to: resources and referrals, advocacy, event planning and coordination, support groups, community outreach, and co-sponsored events with student organizations and other internal and external stakeholders. Develops and maintains good working relationships with campus and community partners. Oversees the staff adviser to the Changing Carolina Peer Leaders (CCPL). Serves as part of the administrative team for Student Health Services. Position will monitor and rotate on-call to respond to sexual assaults and other forms of violence on campus as appropriate. Will also be responsible for conducting research and quality improvement activities, data analysis and writing quarterly and annual reports.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 3 years of related experience, or bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience.
