Summary of Duties:
This position is responsible for a variety of operational, administrative, fiscal duties. As well as staff support and planning activities, some of which require advanced or specialized knowledge or skills. Duties include record-keeping and database management, information-gathering projects and tasks that require independent judgement, tact, diplomacy and sensitivity. Must be able to interpret and apply complicated rules and regulations, as they apply to all aspects of the position in accordance with NCAA, Pac-12, State, University and departmental rules.
High School graduation or equivalent and two years of clerical experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
Must have, or able to obtain, a valid driver's license by time of hire.
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Work experience with administrative functions including data management and fiscal records.
Work experience that demonstrated the ability to organize and plan events and programming.
Work experience that demonstrates strong technology background with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and Database Management.
Work experience that demonstrates excellent communication and report writing skills, and the ability to initiate and complete projects with specific deadlines.
Work experience that demonstrates an ability to work with students, coaches, administrators, university programs and staff in a broad range of situations.
Experience that demonstrates genuine interest in success of student-athletes and the ability to work with a diverse student population.
