Program Supervisor for Supplemental Instruction
Illinois Residency Requirement: This position requires Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date. The Program Supervisor for Supplemental Instruction will assist in the coordination of the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program and supervise peer-led group study sessions for students taking designated high-risk courses in an effort to enhance student success and promote student retention. The Supplemental Instruction (SI) program at SIUE is a non-remedial, institution-wide academic assistance program that increases student performance and retention. The SI program targets traditionally difficult academic courses — those that have an approximate 30% rate of D or F grades and withdrawals — and provides regularly scheduled, out-of-class, peer faci
