The University of Colorado Boulder Student Government (CUSG) encourages applications for a CUSG Program Advisor! This role acts as an advisor to the CUSG Proper Leadership and is responsible for the management of the office. CU Student Government (CUSG) creates, implements and oversees a $24 million budget generated by student fees and other revenue to operate the CUSG Cost Centers. CUSG Executives and Legislators introduce and pass measures through Legislative Council that can create or change university policies and procedures and have a lasting impact on the campus. Based on knowledge of CUSG, the University and state of Colorado rules and regulations, this position will advise the student government about how to carry out their platform goals and interact with the University administration on issues pertinent to the student body’s interest. This requires knowledge of the workings of the University based on past experience, the current philosophy of Student Affairs administration, and the political climate of the student body. This role serves as legislative coordinator and liaison.

What We Require
A Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Leadership Development, Psychology or related subject area.
2-3 years experience with working in a higher education environment.
1-2 advising student government or a student organization.
