Job Description: What We Are Looking For
The Assistant Director for Leadership & Curriculum will support the mission of the university by developing student leaders through the facilitation of programs and providing resources to support and engage students.
A Master's degree, two years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Master's degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.
What You Will Do
Provide leadership for student leader recruitment, application, and selection processes for positions including: Orientation + Baylor Line Camp Leaders, Student Leadership Team members, Welcome Week Tradition Leaders, Welcome Week Leaders, and Welcome Weekend Leaders
Serve as the primary point person for shaping student leader training and development, including working with key partners.
Coordinate curriculum and instruction of LDS 3307-Leadership & Student Thriving, a 3-credit hour leadership course for upcoming Orientation + Baylor Line Camp Leaders.
Includes designing syllabus, teaching at least one section, coordinating assignments, facilitating instructor collaboration, and managing course logistics.
Assist in supervising and journeying alongside student leaders during their time of service.
Maintain consistent communication with all student leaders about position expectations and training from recruitment through completion of service.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
Ability to comply with university policies.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
