Our department of Student Services within Tepper, is searching for an Associate Director This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and dynamic work environment. In this role, you will manage the strategic academic processing of student enrollment and records. You will also recommend advising and counsel concerning academic and other issues that pertain to student life; serve as liaison for Student Services Office to Central Admin on issues of enrollment and student progress. You will report to the Executive Director of Student Services and work in partnership with the Directors of the MSPM and MSBA programs.
Your primary responsibilitieswillinclude:
Providing academic advising to the Full Time MSPM, Full Time MSBA and Part Time MSBA programs
Coordinating the MyAcademics Canvas Site and oversee documentation for registration for the MSPM and MSBA programs
Being a Tepper School of Business Liaison to the Office of International Education. Working with initiatives to support TPR international students
Monitor MSPM and MSBA student academic progress, auditing student degree progress throughout the program
Student Experience Support
Provide oversight and leadership of all student activities outside of the academic experience including Orientation, Commencement, and the MSPM and MSBA SAC
Develop MSPM sand MSBA speaker series and extracurricular programming
Recruit and train MSPM and MSBA Admissions Ambassadors, ensuring that accurate Ambassador info is reflected on the MSPM and MSBA website
Oversee program support from both MCC and ALC, managing strategic relationships with key offices and directing collaborative efforts supporting a positive student experience
Academic Program Oversight
Work in collaboration with faculty, program directors and program academic committees to provide strategic direction to maintain and execute the academic policies and infrastructure that support the school's teaching mission
Support at-risk and struggling students in collaboration with faculty and administration
Work with faculty and staff from Tepper and SCS to develop a schedule of courses for the each mini and manage revisions as needed to accommodate emerging issues
Facilitate the yearly update of the MSPM and MSBA Student Handbook
Work with Institutional Research to develop and administer the MSPM and MSBA Program Survey
Facilitate Town Halls (feedback), Academic Steering Committee (faculty), MSPM / MSBA All-Hands (faculty+staff) to ensure collaboration across Colleges and departments
Serves as the point of contact with other university offices (e.g., University Registrar, OIE, the HUB, etc.)
Oversee the degree certification and completion process, ensuring that students are tracking appropriately during the program and signing off on student degree completion as well as manually certifying students

Three to five years of experience in an academic setting with responsibility for student programs/events required
Or a combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated
