The Alumni Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Associate Director of Development, Alumni Relations in engagement, giving, communications, and events for alumni and parents of Alumni (PALs).
Help manage and support the alumni relations calendar, including annual events, appeals, and communications
Manage the Alumni Class Notes section for the School’s digital magazine
Support alumni outreach by updating content for various digital platforms
Maintain alumni website with current and up-to-date information as needed
Attend and take minutes at the Alumni Executive Committee meetings and PAL committee meetings
Work with Assoc. Dir. of Development, Alumni Relations on the planning and execution of Reunion weekend and Athletic Hall of Fame (HOF), including reunion giving.
Work with the Assoc. Director of Development, Alumni Relations to manage MenloConnect, the online database and networking platform for Menlo Alumni
Support for organizing Alumni and PAL regional events
Provide administrative support as necessary to the Associate Director of Development, Alumni Relations
Education and Skills Needed:

Excellent writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to represent Menlo School professionally both internally and externally to our constituents
Proven success working as part of a team, independently, and with a diverse group of people
Firm understanding of web technologies and applications, including Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite tools, and social media platforms as well as knowledge of current communication trends.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp or Constant Contact is a plus
High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information
Comfort in a fast-paced environment, ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines
Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed for regional and local events
