Columbia Basin College ("CBC" or the "College") seeks a Program Coordinator who will be responsible for the coordination of work duties and independently plan, organize and prioritize work in support of the Counseling and Advising Center (the “Center”) and the Veteran Services Program. The Program Coordinator will provide in-depth customer service to students, staff and the public. This position will collaborate with Center staff and departments to ensure efficient and timely processes are developed and implemented. This position reports to the Director for Advising, Completion & Retention.

Provide direct coordination to the Director for Advising, Retention & Completion in support of programs within the Center;
Provide primary intake services and high-level customer service to students, staff and public for the Counseling & Advising Center; resolve problems and respond to inquiries regarding procedures and services;
Respond to Center emails, answer phone calls and schedule appointments for staff;
Build Human Development (HDEV) and First Year Introduction (FYI) course sections and serve as the primary support to the Dean and Director to facilitate the coordination of all aspects for the FYI Program;
Maintain accurate coding and advising referrals in support of a new case load advising model;
Monitor and track students for compliance with the Academic Performance requirements;
Maintain and monitor the department budget; complete and process requisitions, invoices and payroll; Order supplies, equipment and printing materials; arrange for equipment maintenance and repair services;
Establish front office procedures, standards, priorities and deadlines in consultation with the Director;
Establish or revise electronic or manual files;
Attend meetings and conferences as a Counseling & Advising representative;
Maintain Counseling & Advising Center, and Student Orientation to Advising and Registration (SOAR) web pages;
Collaborate in creating and updating processes, documentation, forms and publications as they relate to the services provided in the Center;
Assist with supervision of hourly employees and student workers assigned to the Counseling & Advising Center and;
Columbia Basin College (CBC) serves the citizens of Benton and Franklin counties in Washington state with two-year associate degrees for transfer to a four-year university, and applied degrees for workforce employment. CBC also provides one-year certificates and basic skills for those pursuing a GED or high school diploma. CBC serves approximately 7,000-8,000 students each quarter.Columbia Basin College now offers bachelor degrees in Nursing, Project Management, Applied Management, Cyber Security, Information Technology, and Dental Hygiene.
