Advertised Job Summary:
The Coordinator for Leadership Programming, within the Leadership and Service Center (LSC), is responsible for envisioning, planning, implementing, and evaluating leadership education programs and services that provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful and inclusive experiences beyond the classroom. This position will also support the University's mission and goals through participating in recruitment and retention activities, as appropriate, for prospective and current students.
Primary duties include:
· Coordinate and implement initiatives for leadership education that provide meaningful, inclusive, and beyond the classroom experiences, for all student populations
· Oversee leadership education, including the direct engagement with the planning and facilitation of initiatives, including leadership programs, leadership coaching, conferences, and retreats. Programs and initiatives include: Camp Cocky Leadership Retreat, Student Leadership and Diversity Conference, and the Close Family Emerging Leaders Program
· Assist in coordinating and implementing initiatives for student organizations that provides meaningful, beyond the classroom experiences, for all student populations, including the Student Organization Fair and the Student Org Leadership Retreat
· Coordinate and implement initiatives within Student Government
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 1 year related experience, or bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience.
This position will be asked to flex time to work some nights and weekends for functions and events. Valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to drive a 7 passenger van is required. May graduates will be considered if they will be able to obtain their degree by the date of employment.
