Description of Work:
The Director of Recruitment is the face of the College of Education and Human Sciences (CEHS) providing leadership and coordination for all aspects of student recruitment for CEHS on both city and east campuses. Responsibilities include development and implementation of a comprehensive recruitment plan designed to enroll a high achieving and diverse student body; administer budget (with the Dean's office) for recruitment activities; coordinate recruitment of students to participate in CEHS programs (i.e. college-sponsored learning communities and CEHS Ambassadors); connect college and department recruitment efforts for both undergraduate and graduate students; and collaborate with all departments in CEHS and the Office of Admissions to develop and implement admissions and recruitment activities. Primarily geared towards recruiting undergraduate students but also expected to work with departments to support graduate recruiting initiatives and events.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, human sciences, public relations, student services or related field plus 2 years of recruiting, educational, youth or community outreach, student services, and/or public relations experience required. Demonstrated experience working with undergraduate students necessary. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills essential. Must have demonstrated examples of program development, organization and leadership skills. Ability and desire to learn the many degrees and programs in CEHS required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required along with working knowledge of social media and communication platforms necessary.
Master's degree in education, human sciences, public relations, student services or related field preferred. Knowledge of recruiting issues and best practices in marketing innovative academic programs to undergraduate students desirable. Teaching, organizing or leadership experience helpful. Preference will be given to applicants with management, presentation, organizational, and date management skills.
