Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with a minimum of two years of experience, within the last five years, in long-term care as defined by the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON); or Two years of experience, within the last five years, as a MBON approved faculty; or Registered Nurse with a Master's degree in education or successful completion of "Train the Trainer" approved by the MBON. College level teaching or adult education experience with online learning platforms preferred. Candidates must meet MBON requirement to teach GNA, and academic qualifications for consideration.

Seek continuous improvement in teaching (classroom and on-line) methodology and student centered learning.
Maintain Nursing Certification and remain current in Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant and other related Allied Health disciplines.
Maintain scheduled availability to students.
Develop an individual professional development plan.
Participate with other faculty in developing and managing courses, curricula, and serve on Nursing Advisory Board.
Provide leadership to assigned Continuing Education division, assist in student recruitment and selection.
Maintain laboratories, supplies and/or equipment.
Remain knowledgeable about the College, Health and Human Services its structure, culture, policies, and practices.
Serve as point of contact for internal and external organizations, including marketing programs in in Health and Human Services.
Attend regular meetings with the Continuing Education Staff, Allied Health advisory groups, MBON, and other meetings as requested.
Serve as an advocate for the College and its students, as required.
