Program Coordinator for Student Involvement- Evening & Weekend Events

Program and Event Management
Coordinate and manage late night and evening programming, primarily
Oversee events, including those with alcohol, and to mitigate risks by offering student leader risk management trainings;
Assist (as part of the OSI team) with developing, implementing, and assessing large, annual events for the campus community, involving students, staff, faculty, and alumni; including New Student Orientation, Welcome Week Events, Homecoming, Dancefest, Springfest, and other student and staff-initiated University-wide events; and
Assist with building partnerships and collaborations with campus partners to provide campus-wide programs and events designed to build community, promote leadership, foster engagement, and facilitate student success.
Serve as the primary adviser to a set of assigned student organizations;
Provide oversight, ensure compliance, and promote active leadership development of student organizations;
Advise and consult with student organization officers regarding programming initiatives and activities, travel, and organizational growth and member development;
Provide budget and financial counsel, resources, and expertise in guiding the evolution and transition of student leadership and student organization projects;
Institute strategic measures to ensure financial responsibility among student
Review and execute performance and vendor contracts in conjunction with the Director and the Office of Finance and Administration.
Assessment and Finance
Ensure financial responsibility and stewardship of resources by student organizations; and Develop an assessment plan to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and programs.
Support collection of data and implement program assessment plans to evaluate student learning outcomes and student satisfaction utilizing these data.
Process financial payments and reports;
Prepare reports, provide research, and complete projects as assigned;
Participate in department-wide planning of programs and initiatives while collaborating with others to ensure high-quality events and services to students;
Support the work of the department through committees, division or University taskforces, and other special assignments;
Work in collaboration with other campus partners to ensure high-quality service to students, staff, and campus guests;
Willingness to regularly work nights and weekends; and
Perform other duties as assigned.
This position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA), in accordance with the federal statutory requirements of the Jeanne Clery Act. CSAs are required to and responsible for reporting allegations of crimes they receive from students and employees to the Campus Safety Department.
Experience planning large and small events in a college/university setting
Experience advising student clubs and organizations
Ability to be detail-oriented

Experience developing student leaders, student organizations, and adviser trainings and resources
Experience working with student organization management platform
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience is required.
