As an engaged member of the College of Business's enrollment management team, the Assistant Director of Recruitment serves as the college's primary contact for prospective undergraduate students and parents, including first-generation, low-income and/or minority populations. The Assistant Director advises prospective students regarding academic requirements, programs, and policies of the college and the university in person, over the phone, and via email through campus visits, recruitment events, and other recruiting initiatives. This position coordinates the College of Business Student Ambassador program, including recruiting, training, and supervising college students to support recruitment activities, admissions events, campus visit programs, and college tours. This individual collaborates with academic departments to lead pre-college events and camps, and serves as the College's point of contact with the Office of Admissions and other college partners on university-wise recruiting events. The Assistant Director assists with strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and data assessment while serving in a leadership role to implement innovative undergraduate recruitment strategies for the College of Business. This individual is also responsible for targeted recruitment efforts and marketing efforts of prospective student populations. This position may require weekend and evening hours during peak times.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in admissions, recruiting, sales, or closely related setting. May consider a related Master's degree in lieu of the two (2) years of experience. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Public speaking/presentation skills necessary. Must have ability to work independently using strong organizational skills and initiative. Must be able to analyze data to inform decision-making. Must have ability to recognize and serve the needs of diverse student populations. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Master's degree in business, counseling, student affairs or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of college recruitment and/or admissions experience desirable. Supervisory experience is preferred. Experience working with CRM technology helpful. Experience recruiting or working with first-generation, low-income and/or minority high school or college students preferred.
