IUPUC ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT (IN-CENR-IUINA)

Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) continues to deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate degree programs aligned with and responsive to regional educational needs since 1970. IUPUC is located in Columbus, Indiana, and enrolls between 1,500 and 1,800 students annually. IUPUC offers academic programs to students who reside in Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Johnson, Ripley, Shelby, and other counties in southern Indiana.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

• Reviews admissions applications.
• Performs system data inputs and maintenance.
• Makes admissions recommendations and decisions.
• Interacts with students, families, external organizations and within the university for information exchange and issues resolution.
• Develops, implements, and administers plans, programs, and events for general and targeted student recruitment in support of organizational goals.
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
• Serves to support the Hispanic/Latinx student population as this key student base continues to grow in the counties of and around IUPUC and serves as the primary contact for prospective Hispanic/Latinx students and their families.
• Assists in the creation and implementation of recruitment strategies for Hispanic/Latinx students.
• Helps design recruitment materials and web content for the Hispanic/Latinx student population.
• Participates in recruitment activities and processes applications for our Hispanic/Latinx students.

General Responsibilities

• Maintains, implements and oversees a holistic recruitment yield tactical plan for recruitment.
• Develops, implements, and administers plans, programs, and events for general and targeted student recruitment in support of organizational goals.
• Integrates a diverse and strategic communications strategy in collaboration with other departments, geared toward specific student declared academic major, career interests, and geographic factors.
• Identifies and develops partnerships for outreach to prospective students and influencers.
• Interprets academic policies and exercises authority and independent judgment.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates programs and processes and determines the effectiveness of markets and strategies. Exercises independent judgment and uses census data and modeling tools to identify effective marketing plans and strategies to address specific populations.
• Serves in a collaborative role with internal and external stakeholders to identify targets of opportunity to attract and enroll under-represented populations. Participates in the assessment and evaluation of various models.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
