Summary of Duties: WSU Everett and the Student Services team are committed to student success and ensuring equitable opportunities and outcomes for all students. The
Campus Registrar supports this commitment by providing strategic leadership and overall management of Registrar, Scheduler, Veteran Affairs, Access Center, International Students, and related functions. This includes the supervision of departmental staff, development and implementation of policy/procedures, conducting department assessment and evaluation, fiscal administration and participation in strategic planning. This position is responsible for implementation of registration functions at WSU Everett within PeopleSoft and 25Live scheduling system. Additionally, this position has responsibilities related to FERPA, test proctoring, and maintaining partnerships with WSU-system colleagues.
Required Qualifications:- A Bachelor's degree OR equivalent education/experience.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and positively in a diverse environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to details, organized, and multi-tasking to meet deadlines.
- Experience advising/counseling students.
- Experience or knowledge of coordinating student services programs.
- Experience analyzing, evaluating, using professional judgment and/or applying a comprehensive depth of knowledge of student issues.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in related field.
- Previous work experience at an institution of higher education.
- One or more years of experience advising/counseling students in a higher education setting or equivalent.
- Experience working with diverse faculty, students and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and leadership, including the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with Washington State University academic rules and regulations.
