Impact & Responsibilities: Oversees the coordination, development and streamlining of mentoring programs housed in Diversity, Inclusion & Social Justice, including the Multicultural Mentors for Student Success program (M2S2), Queer Peer Mentoring Program and Military Sponsorship Program; serves as a case manager for multicultural student retention efforts; and leads large scale programmatic efforts, including Multicultural Student Day, an extended DiversiLead program, Multicultural Legacy Graduation, and other identity-specific education programs, workshops, and trainings.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree; at least two years of experience working with diverse student populations in an education setting; advising and mentoring experience; ability to work as a team member in a high-energy, progressive and diverse department; must be flexible and adaptive to change; and strong organizational, written and verbal skills. Student experience will be considered.
Preferred: Master’s degree in college student personnel, higher education leadership or related field; large-scale program development experience; case management experience; and experience compiling and using data to make programmatic recommendations and reports.
