Provide clinical assessment, short-term psychotherapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention to student population at NYU DC (Washington, DC); build close working relationships with external mental health providers (including psychiatrists) and other medical professionals from whom NYU DC students seek care. Liaise with faculty and administrators to best serve the mental health needs of NYU DC students. In consultation with the Director of Counseling & Wellness based in New York, establish policies and procedures related to the provision of mental health services in Washington DC. Work with other student affairs professionals at NYU DC who are responsible for other aspects of student health including ensuring immunization compliance of the NYU DC student population. Create and deliver health promotion and orientation programming related to health and mental health at NYU DC for faculty, staff and students. Manage students' questions related to their global health insurance and liaise with insurance vendor representatives. This position requires being available for 24 hour emergency on-call coverage. Please note this position is located in Washington DC at NYU DC.
ResponsibilitiesRequired Education:
Ph.D. in clinical psychology or LCSW

Required Experience:
3 years clinical experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with diverse adolescent or college population. Depending on need, experience with, including but not limited to, alcohol and other drugs, eating disorders and suicide prevention.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Appropriate licensure/clinical credentials. Ability to be on-call overnights and weekends as needed.
