Job Summary:
The College of Arts and Sciences Advising Center at the University of Kentucky is accepting applications for an academic advisor. This person is responsible for advising students in the College of Arts and Sciences; contribution to and participation in approximately 30 year-round advising conferences for new Freshman, transfer and readmitted students; participation in student recruitment activities; development of programs and materials; make responsible decisions regarding student reinstatement to the university, course application toward degrees, transfer course equivalencies, student credit enrollment overloads, and academic probation counseling; and promote internship and study abroad opportunities. This position will be involved in daily communication with students, parents, staff, faculty, off-campus constituents, and visitors.
