Adjunct Instructor: Foundations Electronic Media Studio: Time-based Art
The School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University seeks an adjunct instructor to teach Foundations Electronic Media Studio: "Time-based Art", a practical introduction to video, sound, and animation within the context of the arts. In this course students develop the skills and confidence to produce time-based artworks that utilize moving-image and sound, discuss their work in relation to current digital art practices, and critically engage new technologies. Educators for this course will be expected to provide instruction in video production (camera, lighting, and production studio operation); audio recording and sound design (microphones operation, field and studio recording, audio sampling, and Adobe Audition); video assembly, editing, and compositing (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Ripp
