Student Services Coordinator - Department of Animal Science

The Department of Animal Science invites applications for the position Student Services Coordinator, stationed in Knoxville, Tennessee, on the campus of the UT Institute of Agriculture within the Herbert College of Agriculture. The primary responsibility of this position is to foster the holistic success of students in the Department of Animal Science. This position has responsibilities for advising students on appropriate courses for completion of the academic requirements for the appropriate concentrations in Animal Science, supporting student transition to college life, teaching students about academic opportunities, and coordinating efforts related to student success and advising. The Student Services Coordinator also interprets and advises students on policies and procedures of the university and college and coordinates the departmental faculty mentoring program and retention tracking efforts for the College.
