Advertised Job Summary:
The Psychologist will provide a broad range of counseling and psychological services to students, including intake evaluation and assessment, treatment planning, and treatment provision within the modalities of individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. Provides crisis intervention and management. Provides psychological consultation to families, faculty and staff, and other Student Health Services (SHS) staff. Provides training and clinical supervision to Counseling and Psychology (CAP) trainees and early career professional staff as assigned. Provides Community Based Services as assigned. Other duties as assigned by their supervisor or. The provider will practice in accordance with the ethics promulgated by the American Psychological Association, state law and licensing regulations, and departmental guidelines and policies. The position is subject to credentialing, privileging, and peer review.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
PsyD, (Ph.D.) in psychology from an accredited college or university and 1-year professional experience. Licensed or eligible for a license to practice psychology in the State of South Carolina. Must obtain and maintain credentialing and privileging throughout employment.
