Position Description Binghamton University’s Athletics Department and University Counseling Center (UCC) seek a full-time, 12-month renewable position with benefits for a counselor providing mental health counseling and outreach services to Division I student-athletes. This is a generalist position with strong preference for candidates who have experience working in a collegiate athletics setting. Early career candidates are welcome to apply.  Duties of the position include short-term individual and group counseling, outreach and psychoeducation, crisis counseling, initial assessment, and consultation and liaison relationships with Athletics staff.
