The Student Life Accessibility Specialist & Testing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Office of Accessibility Resources (OAR) testing rooms and specific accommodation needs for students with disabilities at Carleton College. This position will focus on accommodation requests related to student life, including residential, dining, and parking accommodations. This induvial is a vital member of the OAR team, providing essential support to students and the department.

The Student Life Accessibility Specialist & Testing Coordinator will provide accommodation support, review documentations presented by students to guide decision making for reasonable accommodations, collaborate with faculty to ensure the accurate implementation of accommodated testing through OAR, and maintain accurate records in a confidential manner.

The successful candidate possesses a Bachelor’s degree with one or more years of disability-related experience and demonstrated knowledge, training, or experience in State and Federal laws related to disability. Must have scheduled flexibility to meet the needs of the student services provided by the office example during exam periods.
