Under the supervision of the Director, incumbent is responsible for co-supervising the day-to-day operation of the children in a preschool setting. Responsibilities include planning curriculum and outdoor activities, assist in supervision of practicum and field study students.

$44,975 - $52,262

Current California Child Development Program Permit.
Valid Child Development Teacher Permit, either holds an active permit or must show proof that you qualify. Maintain active/valid First Aid/CPR cards. Knowledge of development needs of children ages 2 to 5. Knowledge of appropriate activities, (physical, emotional, language, social, and cognitive) for this particular age group. Two years' experience working with preschool age children in a supervised capacity. Physical stamina Community College Certificate in Early Childhood Education desirable. Ability to demonstrate a nurturing, warm, and supportive attitude when interacting with children.
Special Conditions Required:
Current First Aid and CPR Certification. Documentation of absence of active tuberculosis.
