Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Assistant Dean of Students (ADOS) for Student Basic Needs. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students/Director of Off-Campus and Community Initiatives, this position is responsible for helping to ensure the quality of life for the student experience, to advocate for students, and to provide a safety net for students. This person works directly with programs and services that help provide financial and other support to students, including oversight of the Student Emergency Fund, food cards, and the Rutgers Food Pantry.The services of the Dean of Students Offices are grounded in student development theories and practices.
