Clarke University is currently recruiting to fill the position of Assistant Director of Engagement and Intercultural Programs. The Assistant Director of Engagement and Intercultural Programs is responsible for supporting cultural awareness and marginalized populations through campus programming, educational efforts, and advising student organizations. Additional duties include supporting departmental programs such as new student orientation, leadership development, student conduct resolution, emergency on-call response, and representing the department on various university committees. This professional will cultivate appropriate student relationships as they provide an inclusive and engaging environment for students that supports the academic mission of the University, and is conducive to student academic success and personal growth.

Qualifications: A Master's degree in Student Personnel or related field, equivalent experience or progressive work towards a Master’s degree may be considered. Experience advocating for marginalized students, and student organization advising in a college setting. Excellent interpersonal skills, experience in campus programming, and student conduct resolution is strongly preferred. In addition, an understanding of, and the desire to work in a small, Catholic university environment, as well as a demonstrated ability to motivate and energize students is required for this position. 

This is a full-time, twelve-month, live-in position. Remuneration includes salary, University benefits, furnished apartment, and funds for on campus dining. Review of resumes will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
