Commensurate with credentials submitted as applied to the College’s Administrative, Professional and Technical Staff Salary System.
This position will develop, coordinate, and evaluate student focused activities, programs, and initiatives that enhance the quality of student life. Through this role, this person will support the social and educational engagement strategic direction through consistent weekly/monthly and annual programming. They will advise the Student Government Association, coordinate leadership initiatives and community service initiatives. This person will create campus-wide trainings, workshops, and facilitation opportunities.
Minimum education and experience include:
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline.
Prior experience planning and executing large scale events.
Related work experience preferably in an educational facility in Student Engagement/ Activities, Student Affairs, Residence Life, and/or Student Orientation.
Experience in leading trainings or workshops.
Minimum abilities and skills include:
Positive, out-going personality with a sense of humor
Evidence of creativity and ingenuity in developing programs and solving problems.
Ability to teach/facilitate leadership development.
Developed organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
Ability to train and motivate people.
Experience in fiscal management.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or willing to acquire.
