The Campus Coordinator serves as a content specialist regarding Autism Spectrum Disorder and how students are impacted across campus. The position monitors and assesses the effectiveness of student engagement on campus and conducts research regarding effective strategies with students with ASD. The Campus Coordinator is the point person for student workshops, campus trainings and awareness events.
Duties and Responsibilities
Carries a large caseload of students to manage the coaching and mentor relationship and problem solves as it relates to campus success and retention; assesses student/campus engagement as it contributes to the success and retention of college students with ASD; develops and improves current initiatives directed at campus awareness; recruits, trains and monitors interns and student mentors in the development of their understanding of ASD; serves as an internal leader for the Mosaic Team to help guide and further develop the understanding of ASD; and develops and manages collaborative professional relationships with various departments across campus (Orientation, Admissions, Financial Aid, Housing, Grants and Sponsored Programs, etc.) to further develop Mosaic students and the Mosaic program.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Knowledge of ASD and the impact on individuals in an educational setting
- Organizational skills necessary to plan and carry out campus events
- Research/assessment skills and grant writing ability
- Ability to maintain required duties of this position while developing collaborative campus partners
- Supervisory skills necessary to support the development of mentors and teaching assistants

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field and one year of paid or unpaid experience in an educational setting with a diverse population.
Preferred Requirements: Master's degree; 1-3 years of experience working in a higher education setting with a neurodiverse population; excellent written and oral communication skills; and ability to develop marketing materials for Mosaic.
