Reporting to the Associate Director, this Assistant Director role has primary responsibility for the complex tasks associated with student housing assignments and related billing. The Assistant Director serves in an on-call duty rotation to support other Housing & Residence Life staff with after-hours emergencies (low-touch, approximately 2 weeks per semester). The Assistant Director will provide direct management of the daily operation and assignments for new and returning students within the electronic housing management system (Adirondack’s The Housing Director). This includes the housing assignment process for incoming students, selection process for returning students, and room changes in coordination with the Associate Directors and Community Coordinator.
