As part of the university's comprehensive vaccination program, all Cornell employees are required to have and provide proof of an FDA-or WHO-authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine or have obtained a university-approved disability/medical or religious exemption, regardless of their role and work location.
New hires are required to provide documentation showing full vaccination status (that is, completion of two shots of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or one shot of the Janssen/Johnson & Johnson) before their first day of work. If a new hire's vaccination is not complete or information is not received by their start date, the first day of work will be delayed. It is possible in some cases that an offer of employment may be withdrawn.

Student and Campus Life (SCL) inspires transformation in all Cornell students on their journey of individual, academic and personal evolution. Our division is comprised of leading student affairs experts who support our campus on pressing student life matters including public service, health, wellness, social justice, residential living, food services, sports, recreation, career services, and student activities and organizations including sorority and fraternity life. We provide support and services to roughly 25,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on multiple campuses in the U.S. and abroad.
Cornell Career Services (career.cornell.edu) is part of Cornell's Division of Student and Campus Life. Our comprehensive services in Barnes Hall are open to all students, and complement the services offered through career offices in the undergraduate colleges that are tailored to more college-specific academic and career goals.
The mission of Cornell Career Services (CCS) is to empower students to identify their strengths, interests, and values; discover and explore possibilities; gain experience; and develop strategies for pursuing diverse career paths and making mindful career decisions. We offer an array of career-development activities that inspire students to gain confidence and establish a foundation upon which to build their careers over a lifetime.
The Employer Relations and Professional Readiness group within Cornell Career Services works with students to develop skills in preparation for the job search, through individual coaching and workshops/programs. In addition, the group identifies and promotes opportunities for students by consulting with employers on successful strategies for identifying and recruiting talent from Cornell; managing the On-Campus Recruiting Program, career fairs, and other employer events; and facilitating students' remote interviews with employers that do not visit campus.
The Recruiting Operations Assistant for Employer Relations and Professional Readiness assists the unit with all recruiting activities between Cornell students and employers looking to engage with them. In addition, this role is the first point of contact to provide initial information about recruiting at Cornell, resources available, and CCS overall to a wide audience including students, employers, parents, and campus partners. This role also provides administrative assistance to the unit overall.
