The Graduate Program Administrator is the main contact for prospective students, applicants, and students in the graduate programs in the department of Mathematics and Statistics. This includes Masters and PhD programs in Mathematics and Statistics, as well as a Masters of Science Statistical Practice (MSSP) Program.
The Graduate Program Administrator in collaboration with the Directors of Graduate Admissions, is primarily responsible for all activities related to applicant recruiting, admissions, and yielding of each entering class in the graduate programs, including setting and meeting admission and enrollment targets, fielding questions, and entering admission decisions. In addition, the Graduate Program Administrator serves as the main contact for all continuing graduate students. This includes designing, implementing, and promoting student services, special events, career services opportunities, registration, advising, and financial aid and support, and maintaining student records . In collaboration with the MSSP Program Director, the Graduate Program Administrator will also manage the Statistical Consulting Service and the Corporate-Industrial Affiliates Program. The Graduate Program Administrator will help develop and maintain the websites for the MSSP Program and the graduate program pages, as well as to design, organize, and maintain the accuracy of information regarding essential resources for all graduate students.
Bachelor's degree required and three to five years of experience.
