Summary of Duties:The
WSU Everett Student Services Coordinator position's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage scheduling of rooms for WSU Everett campus meetings, classes, study groups, and partner universities classes. Manage student records; setting enrollment appointments, class enrollment, tuition calculation, advisor assignment coding, program codes, enrollment holds, course catalog, cancellations, and upholding regulations and policies. Process admission applications for admitted students. Process transcripts for incoming, current, and former students. Schedule and provide proctoring services for WSU students who are registered with the Access Center. Research and compiling data from queries and OBIEE for executive staff. Attend meetings via in-person and Zoom. Assist with events by planning and/or staffing event. Assist WSU Everett Admissions with recruitment and new student orientation. Assist with petitions, student guidance and retention.
Required Qualifications:- High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
- Two years of experience providing support and/or overseeing activities related to student services such as admissions, advising, career counseling, financial aid, outreach, recruitment and/or retention.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Demonstrated ability to perform work with high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working in a higher education environment.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with various departments and executive staff.
- Demonstrated efficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Databases, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
