Job Pitch Web developer Matt Mullenweg once said, “Technology is best when it brings people together.” Driven by curiosity and motivation, the Director of Admissions Systems and Operations will use technology to build, streamline, and optimize systems to bring prospective students to DePaul University. We are looking for a systems-oriented leader who can create seamless processes that are easily navigable for customers through all stages of the admissions funnel.
What You'll Do - You have the experience of leading diverse teams. This role has 20+ direct and indirect reports; you lead with your knowledge of best practices in database management, SQL, queries, HTML/JSS, and Peoplesoft SIS.
- You have a working knowledge of Slate and are comfortable collaborating with peers in areas of digital marketing, website management, information technology, and Peoplesoft.
- A successful Director will be a trusted and reliable partner to both internal and external stakeholders. You understand how the components of your work impact the organization on divisional and institutional levels.
- We are interested in problem-solvers who can attentively listen to stakeholders' concerns and implement updates, changes, and customizations. To be successful, you understand technological details but are also able to translate them meaningfully to non-technical stakeholders.
- The right candidate will be a meticulous project manager who can allocate staff time and resources to multiple projects. You will use your business intelligence to make the difficult decisions of what needs to be prioritized or de-prioritized accordingly.
What You'll Need - A bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with customer-facing technology in the education sector.
- Experience managing a budget.
Time and Place - Staff may be asked to work evenings or weekends.
- This is currently a hybrid position, working 4 days onsite and 1 day from home.
