The Associate Director for Graduate Enrollment Operations and Strategy plays a pivotal role in helping Boston University (BU) achieve its graduate and professional enrollment targets. The Associate Director will be an operational and strategic partner to BUs schools, colleges, and academic units; central administrative offices such as Enrollment and Student Administration (ENSA), Information Services and Technology (IS&T), Marketing and Communications (MarCom), International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO), among others; and external vendors and partners. The Associate Director will report to the Graduate Enrollment Operations Director and will be a critical team member in Graduate Affairs in the Office of the Provost, often working closely with the Assistant Provost for Graduate Enrollment and Masters & Professional Student Support, the Manager of Graduate Enrollment and Student Services, and the Senior Research Analyst and Programmer.

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
Eight years of relevant professional experience required. Experience at a large-scale research institution is a plus.
Direct experience with graduate and professional school admission, including operations, recruitment, and yield strategies, is required.
A robust understanding of the graduate enrollment student life cycle is required, as is direct experience with admission application software and CRMs. Familiarity with Liaison products (WebAdMIT, EMP, UniCAS, Slideroom) and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, are needed.
An outstanding ability to problem solve and manage multiple competing priorities is required.
The individual must be able to work independently, collaborate with and motivate multiple and disparate teams, set priorities, meet and exceed goals, and adjust to university and vendor priorities.
Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting.
The ability to successfully manage a healthy work/life balance, including a sense of humor.
