Position Summary Under the general supervision and guidance of the Executive Associate Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Academic Support Services, this position operates with a high degree of autonomy and will monitor the academic progress of assigned student-athletes in accordance with NCAA, conference, and university requirements and provide leadership in the areas of academic advisement, academic coordination, and orientation.  The Learning Specialist is dedicated to assisting student-athletes navigate through their careers at San Diego State University by providing individualized academic support for them.  This position will work closely with the Student Ability Success Center and Assistant Learning Specialists to coordinate appropriate support services to best me
