Advertised Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician provides planned, corrective cross-functional maintenance and preventive repair services, including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting on Campus Recreation managed facilities and equipment.

Primary duties include:
· Provide cross-functional maintenance and repair services including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing for indoor space and adjacent outdoor areas.
· Perform general, routine, and preventative maintenance on Campus Recreation equipment to include cardiovascular and strength, sport-specific, pool mechanical equipment.
· Assist with facility and event set up and break down as required for classes and special events.
· Assist with maintaining adequate inventory of equipment and supplies.

Advertised Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma and 4 years directly related trade experience.
South Carolina driver's license required. This position has been designated as essential personnel during inclement / hazardous weather and other emergencies. In addition, this position requires a variable work schedule. Evening and weekend hours will be required.
