Some reside on campus in faculty housing and serve as dorm parents (supervisors). They are dynamic men and women dedicated to helping each boy become a better man – in and out of the classroom. They enjoy working with students in relatively small classes and engaging collaboratively in curriculum design and constant professional improvement. They strive to integrate technology into their teaching and to help improve students’ creativity and critical thinking skills.

- Submit accommodations requests with College Board and ACT and assist with proctoring duties for testing for approved students.
- Stay current with new developments in teaching methods and educational psychology.
- Act as a resource and provide professional development for faculty in the areas of learning differences, executive functions, and cognitive skill building to implement best practices in teaching and learning
- Maintain professional relationships with psychologists and neuropsychologists in the area as a referral base and possess a solid understanding of processes related to psychoeducational testing and outcomes.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, though Master's is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of learning differences and strategies therein
- Facility with a variety of instructional methods and assessments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a positive and proactive communication style
- Ability to create a learning environment that addresses and supports each student’s needs
